A Poem for Andrew…

A Poem for Andrew…

I wrote a poem for Andrew:
What It Takes
What does it take
For us to be boyfriend and girlfriend?
We will express friendly curiosity
And exclusivity
As we get to know and see
If we’re meant to be
What does it take
To be engaged to one another?
This is when we know,
Where we would like to go
A life with each other
Engagement will make it so
What does it take
To be married to one another?
We must be attentive and thoughtful
Loving and sacrificial
Compatible and loyal
Giving and fruitful
These are just some of the things
That will help us to succeed
Let God be our guide
He is all we need
He was thinking he might become a vegetarian because I am a vegetarian! And he mentioned his roommate Cheryl’s niece who has a boyfriend who converted to Catholicism. I wonder why Andrew told me this story… Gives me pause!
I hope he doesn’t convert because of me but because of the evidence that he sees in the faith. He’s pretty opinionated and when you become Catholic it is more like a submission and trust in the church. It isn’t perfect, as there are scandals and such. But I love it. It’s my home.
He also wants to do ballroom dancing. Especially if we were to get married.
He’s really excited and loves me. He wants to have 3 kids and he has the same reasons that I do. I just hope that we will be nurturing and loving parents. He asked me if I would adopt. I said yes, and I think he would say yes as well.
I am going to start on working on a symphony.
What do I want?
I want my bean salad.
What does God want for me?
I just watched the #fishslap videos on Milestone Integrated Marketing. It is impressive! He works for a wonderful, successful company.
I want to show him my onedrive, and all the music.
