Eulogy For Myself…

Eulogy For Myself…

My therapist, who is Christian, thought it would be a good idea to see what I would want said at my own funeral. This is what I wrote:

Follower of Jesus, believer in God and all that is good, She believed she could do anything when God was on her side. Because of her faith, she was loving to the point of neglect for herself. But it wasn’t a love for the family only, but for all of humanity too. All she wanted was to make the world a better place before she left it. She believed in helping the poor, she was against abortion, and she was outspoken on mental wellness. It was because of her faith that she followed her dreams. She had the belief she could do anything she could put her mind to. She knew no boundaries. If people told her she would need medication for life, she would find a way to go without. If she wanted to be a musician, even though she was nervous at times, she found a way to overcome and succeed. She wanted to rise above her circumstances and she did. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. She stood up for what was right, for herself, and for humanity. She is beautiful on the inside and out. She will be truly missed.
