Mayonnaise Dip with Surprise Ingredient
One day, I decided to make a tuna pasta salad. However, my goal was to cut the fishy smell so that my husband could stomach it. So I figured, why not make a super tasty mayonnaise-based sauce/dip to put into the salad and make it super tasty.
I have made several dips in the past, so I had a good foundation for how to make a good and tasty dip using mayonnaise. So it was just a matter of trial and error until I made a very tasty dip. And there’s a surprise ingredient too – pureed sweet potato! I had leftover baby food in my pantry, and I decided it would be a good alternative to yogurt or sour cream, ingredients I typically use with mayonnaise to make a dip. And I knew having the sweetness of the sweet potato and the saltiness from the tuna would really complement each other. So here’s my original recipe for Mayonnaise Dip with Surprise Ingredient!
