I am relentless!

I am relentless!

I have been told that I have a strong will, and that I am a survivor. I believe it is true, because no matter how hard life gets, even when I am in my mind’s hell, I somehow find a way out. I am relentless.

How did I get to be that way? There is a good quote in the bible that explains this:

James 5: 3-5 Not only that, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us.…

I believe I have suffered quite a deal; whether it be from actual circumstances that life has given me or my mental and emotional health making everything about life harder than others. I have learned to never let go.

Suffering has purpose. It has meaning. It forges us into being stronger people. It teaches us. It shows us where we might have went wrong and so help us course-correct. And suffering helps get closer to God, because He chose to suffer in order to share in our humanity so that we can share in His divinity.

Even in my most desperate state, when I had a knife in my hand and inflicted dangerous wounds in my neck, I called out to my Lord, who answered and said He has given me gifts.

Hail Mary
Full of Grace
The Lord with with thee
Blessed art thou among women
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus
Holy Mary
Mother of God
Pray for us sinners now
And at the hour of our death

And I pray this prayer for each and every one of you.
